St Stephen’s is a lovely church tucked away on the north side of Redruth, it has become the family church for generations of local people and is still a living worshipping community.
Treleigh church sits between Treleigh school and pub, just off the old Redruth bypass.
Our main service is on Sunday at 11.15am, there is also a weekly service on Thursday at 9.15am and a monthly Healing Service. Everyone is welcome.
Treleigh attracts many weddings and baptisms, baptisms can be at the morning service or on Sunday afternoon.
The churchyard here is now “closed” which means that only graves that have already been purchased are now used for burials, although burials of ashes may still take place.
St Stephen’s has a good hall nearby which is well used by the local community; there is ample parking for hall and church.
Appeal for Hall Refurbishment
We are very excited at the prospect of improving our hall for community use. Planning permission has been granted for the renovations. As well as preparing funding bids for grants, there are currently lots of fundraising events going on. Please see the weekly sheet for details.
